True Ground works closely with residents to maintain their homes and address property issues promptly. We encourage residents to report any problems, big or small, and assure them that all concerns will be handled with respect and care. To support this, we offer multiple ways for residents to report maintenance issues or property problems.

Regional management reviews requests and shares outcomes with True Ground asset management monthly.
True Ground’s Asset Management team partners with property management to mitigate risk and ensure that all True Ground communities operate seamlessly.
Property management and resident services staff hold listening sessions with residents. Meeting notes are shared with True Ground leadership for feedback and action.
According to federal guidelines, housing costs should ideally take no more than 30% of a family’s income. However, in the region, high rents mean that families earning less than the area median income (AMI) often spend 40%, 50%, or more of their pay on housing. Rental housing that costs more than 30% of a family’s income is not considered affordable.
Committed affordable rental housing, like True Ground’s properties, is dedicated to staying affordable for families making 60% or less of the AMI (currently $68,340 for a family of four) even as the fair-market prices for apartments increase.

Eligibility for housing in True Ground apartments varies based both on the property and on individual/family circumstances. In the majority of True Ground apartments, the approximate qualifying incomes are from $35,000-$68,000 for a family of four.
